My First Love :)

I want too believe that every girls first LOVE is her father. My dad was my first love. I can remember as a kid me and my dad racing up my grandparents driveway, (childhood memories) when me and my brother would get into trouble for doing something stupid, my dad would always somehow let me go back outside, and make my brother stay in. He was always harder on my brother for some reason lol. I remember when my mom and dad split i was in the 3 or 4th grade, and i was devastated. Boy i remember that day like it was yesterday ;(. I didn't quite understood it then, but i truly understand now. A girls relationship with her father (weather it be good or bad) will ultimately shape the rest of her relationships. I think that i made pretty good choices when it came to men, and even though some of my relationships didn't work out, I've ALWAYS dated men that really had GREAT CHARACTER, and  despite us not working out, OVERALL they were GREAT MEN. Me and my dad have had our ups and downs, but he's never not once judged me. I can remember at 15 telling my dad i was pregnant. I'm sure inside he was devastated, but he never not once showed it. Instead he would take me to my Dr's appointments, and never made me feel anything other then LOVED. I think woman who have absent fathers are more prown to stay in unheathly relationships, simply because they didn't have a father to guide them, to show them what to look for when it came to men. I won't sit here, and act like i came from a COSBY FAMILY, because it was far from that. I was just fortunate enough to have a Father, a dad, and a friend when i needed him to be.  I used to word "FORTUNATE", because those who don't have a father will always yern for a fathers LOVE.
