No Good Deed Goes UNDONE!

I'm sure majority of us have done a good DEED at some point in our life. When i say a "good DEED" I'm talking about a pure act of kindness. Doing something Good for someone, and not expecting NOTHING IN RETURN. It's sad to say but alot of people only do things in hopes too get something out of it. I once pulled up to a gas station, and it was so cold outside. Actually it was Bitter cold outside. There was quite a few cars at the pumps this early am. I got out the car, and as i was walking inside the gas station, I looked out the corner of my eye and i seen a homeless man just sitting on the ground trying to stay warm. He wasn't begging for money he was just sitting there. I noticed how many people walked past him without even giving him a second look. When i walked out i handed him $10 and i told him too hang in there. The crazy thing is that i didn't have $10 to really spare. I was moving that day, and my money was TIGHT. I got back in the car, and tears just fell from my eyes. Here it is ICE COLD OUTSIDE, and NO ONE was even trying to help this man.  I know we come across homeless people EVERYDAY. The ones who are actually asking us for money, and we give it to them, But what about the ones who don't ask for nothing? I've gone above beyond for people in my life, and it didn't really mean much too me. That day i felt like i had done a great deed for someone who i KNEW TRULY needed help, but wouldn't ask. It's the best feeling in the world just knowing that you've helped someone have a better day. NO GOOD DEED GOES UNDONE. God is always good!
